Acronis® True Image Customer Testimonials
Stephen Cassar:Just wanted to tell you that you guys have done an awesome job with Acronsis True Image. A Truly Superb Product that works flawlessly. What a breath of fresh air after struggling with Norton Ghost® all these years! Keep up the good work and keep me posted on new product line additions.
David:I also would like to let you know that last night I purchased Acronis True Image 6.0 and gave it a whirl on the SCSI RAID system that was the subject of our last communique. What a wonderful product you guys have created! You've taken a very complex and powerful tool and made it so simple that it borders on sheer elegance. The simplistic look and feel of this feature packed product is mind blowing! This program built a set of complex boot floppies without any gripes or special user input. The bootloader detected the scsi controller... the busmaster controller... and the arrays... and then booted the system like it was no effort at all. Let me tell you... even Windows XP Pro setup cannot do that! The GUI is beautiful and extremely well implimented. I am truly impressed. Acronis has earned my respect and gets highest recommendation. Keep up the excellent work.
Aaron King Indiana State University:I just wanted to send an email to say how happy I am with Acronis True Image 6.0. I was in desperate need of a way to image a partition on an IDE RAID controller. I previously had used Norton Ghost but it failed to have support for RAID drives. Luckily I found your product. It worked flawlessly and it is far better than any other product I have used. I especially like the bootable CD option. Keep up the good work!
Russ Humphrey:After trying your Acronis True Image, I bought it myself for home use. Another technician convinced his department to buy it because yours was the only product out there that could image a RAID. I have tested Acronis True Image at home on XP, 2K, Linux and dual-boot systems and, as a result of being so knocked out by the product, am promoting it to technicians and groups as a group/department solution for their imaging needs. Acronis True Image saved my bacon on one particularly thorny problem where two of your better-known competitors wouldn't even recognize the drive to be imaged. On top of that, the native maintenance of file journals when imaging ext3 partitions/drives is a huge boon and time saver as is the built in TCP/IP capability without having to reboot networked target with a dos floppy. I really appreciate your marketing/licensing scheme as not only fair and equitable but also as a good pattern for the industry as a whole in these down-turn times. It allows "embedded" and independent techs to add a very valuable tool to their arsenals without the threat of bankruptcy or license violation. Thanks for making a good solid product.
John Dolson, Kaltron:Acronis True Image worked perfectly. My Netware server has a small Dos partiton and a Netware partiton. Other image programs could not deal with the Netware partiton. I used Acronis True Image to image the whole drive. It restored perfectly to a new HD... so I now have a great way to handle backup and disaster recovery. Thanks! Comments about my experience so far... 1. Thanks for trusting me to buy it if it worked. Most suppliers would just say "buy it, and return it if it doesn't work". 2. I love the way it sees the rest of my network! No need to create network enabled boot disks. I simply shared a drive on another machine and saved the image over the network. Even other Windows machines can't find each other but Acronis True Image can...
Cullin Wible, Algorim Technologies, LLC:Several month's ago we began deploying Windows 2000 to a number of our clients. We evaluated several imaging solutions including Microsoft's RIZ and Powerquest's Deploycenter and arrived two conclusions: First, that RIZ's required network cards and other setup was more complex then we wanted. Second, that Deploycenter was way too expensive and extremely top heavy. After doing a search on the Internet, purchasing and using Acronis True Image I am happy to say that the software and your company has exceeded our every expectation – thank you! During our first deployments, we used Acronis True Image to deploy one software image to many of the same type of machine. We found that it actually didn't have support for the built-in NIC's, but your support department was very helpful and we found a quick resolution to the problem. On the second stage of deployment, we were upgrading many machines and we found that by imaging the machines first we could perform upgrades without any risk of data loss. And if an upgrade went totally wrong we could easily restore the original image in about an hour. Now after deploying the machines, we have images of each user's PC so if anything ever happens we can easily restore it to the way it was on the day we installed Windows 2000. Acronis True Image is not only a great imaging product it is a great insurance policy! We are going to require that all of our clients purchase at least one copy and keep it on location for our remote support. So we just wanted to say thanks for making a great product, having great support and making our lives a little easier.
BJ:Just bought Acronis True Image Ver. 7.0 and gave it a thorough testing. I have been using Acronis True Image Ver. 6.0 for some time now and must say that the newer version is absolutely awesome. Loads of new features that were missing in Acronis True Image Ver 6.0 and which I will definitely be using in the future, especially like the incremental backup, the hidden partition and Start-up Recovery Manager. Great product, great user manual, both easy to read and implement, well done Acronis yet another great product and worth every penny especially the nice freebie of the Recovery Expert.
