Acronis® True Image Local Version
Acronis® True Image includes a local version of the product, a component for backup and restoration of a local system that does not require remote access.
How does the Acronis® True Image Local Version work? Step 1: Install the Local Version of the product Step 2: Open the Acronis® True Image application and begin managing backup tasks on the local system. The main options in the local version are:
- Backup — Create backup archives of the local system
- Recovery — Recover files, folders, partitions, disks or an entire system
- Clone Disk — Transfer the operating system, applications, and data from the local disk to a new one
- Add a New Disk — Add a new disk to increase storage capacity while leaving the operating system and applications on the local disk intact
- Create bootable rescue media — Create CDs, USB flash keys, ISO images, and Remote Installation Server (RIS) packages that can be used to boot any failed system in your network. Please note that the local version is the only component that includes the capability to create bootable rescue media
